We are here on Sunday evening 5-6pm, the pool was not so crowded. There are 3 pools, 1 is adult pool suitable for people who likes to lap swim, the water height at 1.4m -1.8m. 1 is for kids, and another one is suitable for beginners which the water height at 0.9m. There are locker available which cost $0.60 for 2 hours, can use paynow or active sg apps to pay. The toilet is clean but a bit old, there are two hair dryers in the toilet/changing area.
Update as of 30 Nov 2023 -- this pool is under renovation. 🛑
This pool complex badly needs a facelift. Ceiling plaster is peeling off, and the facade looks dreary. A cause of concern is that the female toilets have an unsafe placement in such a way that it is on top of a higher platform, and your feet would hang lower. It's an accident waiting to happen, really. I am leaving photos of the ladies shower room so you can see what I'm trying to describe. This is an issue if you have a condition affecting your physical mobility.
Since 26 April 2022, safety distancing measures are no longer enforced. Goodbye and good riddance Trace Together, hahah. There is no need to book your slots in advance, and no more one-hour limit, so you can now have more leeway in your swimming schedule.
If your child is taking swimming lessons on weekends -- you can also swim! You should! Why waste time only watching them when you can also exercise and watch after your kids while in the same pool with them haha. 🤩
One of the more aesthetically pleasing yet functional old school design of the swimming complexes. The complex feature three pools, one competition, one training and a wading pool. The wading and training pool are sheltered on one end so that you can chill even in mid day without worrying about sun burnt. The staff are friendly and there are many elderly residents who are regulars of this pool. This place also offer table tennis table as a side offering. It's a pity that the cafe has closed down since the 90s , it will be good if there is a cafe there for a munch after swimming.
Place was decent but definitely old. The lifeguards were always alert and pretty friendly but apart from that, the other staffs weren't. We had used the baby pool for our daughter and spent most of our time there. The baby pool was pretty big but seems to have the least attention. There were sand inside the pool that must've came from the nearby garden when it rains. Could do with a little cleaning every once in awhile.
Such a big space and many tables but not a single chair around for people to use.
A pool in the satellite town of Ang Mo Kio. It was built more than 30 years ago. Many elderly folks come for their morning swim
- S$1.7 for adult on weekends
- The changing room and toilet are not clean.
- The pool is not quite clean
I came here for swimming during the pandemic (i mean when a lot of restrictions were still in place). this ang mo kio acctive sg swimming complex is only an average tier activesg swimming pool across the island. the awful thing is the wall and ceilings are peeling off, the toilet and showering facilities are old and broken. inside the pool the ceramic tiles are also ripped out, making it looks horrible. there are some construction / reconstruction / repair sites at one end of the pool, leads to piles of sand there, just at the edge of the pool... hope they have improved it alr
